Letter of Intent

I chose the topic of trading forex. I chose this topic because I'm going to do this for a living. I was thinking that I can use the Senior Exit Project as an opportunity to leam how to do the skill I love professionally. I hope to be able to professionally and profitably trade forex by learning how to trade correctly.

My research will be about learning how the financial markets work, different financial markets, and how to trade in a specific market profitably and effectively. I can use sites like investopedia which gives all the information on terms relating to the markets. I can use Youtube for an infinite amount of information about trading. The videos and sites teach new ways and strategies to trade in the ever changing markets.

I will specifically make it my goal to learn how to profitably trade gold in the foreign exchange market. I will need a mentor who is a professional trader in the gold market to teach me their strategy. I will backtest the market to find out how it works, and rinse and repeat with practice trading with fake money until I'm profitable trading fake money, then I'm going to start trading real money. This will be difficult as less than 5% of traders are profitable in the markets. I'm doing this for me so that I can make a lot of money in high-school and gain financial freedom through my adulthood.
